This really easy-to-grow vegetable, gaining more and more popularity here, is one of the oldest crops cultivated in China.
Planted in the autumn garden, about 60 cm apart, it can reach impressive sizes.
In the row it can be alternated with Brussels sprouts or cauliflower — they require the same cultivation.
It has almost no pests, but keep it away from corn, or it will be attacked by corn earworms.
