Translation

This is a translation of a Bulgarian-language post. It conveys the content faithfully but is not the author's original English writing.

Planting winter vetch before planting celeriac is useful for enriching the soil, so that it is loose and rich in potassium. Leek, which thrives in soil rich in potassium, is suitable for alternating rows with celeriac; runner beans are also suitable.

Celeriac does not need blanching and a lot of attention, the way stalk celery does, but when its "crown" begins to develop, it can grow better if the fine roots and the soil attached to them are removed. The side roots should also be removed, so that nice "heads" form.
