Translation

This is a translation of a Bulgarian-language post. It conveys the content faithfully but is not the author's original English writing.

Beetroot, in all its variations (leaf, sugar, salad and others), thrives next to bush bean and kohlrabi, but does not do well next to climbing bean.

Mustard, wild mustard and leaf mustards suppress its growth.

With lettuce and most members of the brassicas (the cabbage family), it gets along wonderfully.

Beetroot and kohlrabi make very good companions, and it is worth alternating one after the other along the row — growing and cultivating them is the same, while they feed at different levels of the soil.
